Government Launches Digital Classroom Scheme for Rural India

The Ministry of Education has launched the Digital Classroom Scheme to promote online and hybrid learning in rural India. The initiative will equip over 1 lakh government schools with smart boards, high-speed internet, and e-learning content in regional languages. This step aims to bridge the urban-rural digital divide and improve access to quality education for children in remote areas. The program will be implemented in partnership with tech companies like Google India and Reliance Jio.
